There has never been more competition to succeed in sport. With more athletes fighting for spots, athletes must look for an advantage, or get left behind.

 

The reality is that not everyone has access to quality strength and conditioning. Geographical or financial limitations can seem to make it harder for some athletes to succeed.

Through our Online Athlete Program, we help provide athletes around the world with our systems, support and sport-specific programming, to help them take the next step in their sport.

ONLINE ATHLETE PROGRAM

Here's how our online option gives athletes around the world a COMPETITIVE EDGE

SESSION TIMETABLE

We offer 22 sessions per week for our athletes and patients to come in and perform their programs under the supervision of our coaches and physiotherapists.

With sessions capped at 8 people and each program individualised to that unique person, this level of rehabilitation and coaching is rarely seen in a private setting.

1. ONBOARDING MEETING

Before we get into any sort of training, we want to learn more about you, your sporting goals and how our team can best serve you throughout your time as a GTP athlete.

We will send out a pre-meeting questionnaire so your coach can outline a full plan for your training around big competition dates or seasons.

This also provides an opportunity for your coach to set up check in times, explain how to use the app and how to get the most our of our Online Athlete Program.

2. ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT

All athletes that come onboard our in-person training programs go through our vigorous testing battery, to understand what each athlete's strengths and weaknesses are, specific to their sport. We evaluate movement quality, strength, power and velocity, and capacity all within our 60-75 minute assessment. If you are unable to come in to Game Time for this assessment, we schedule 1-2 testing days, using everyday gym equipment, to provide your coach with baseline strength numbers, fitness levels etc. to work from and create your individualised program.

3. PROGRAMS THAT HELP YOU WORK SMARTER

Once we have had our onboarding meeting and performed some sort of testing, it's time to get to work!

Your coach will provide a strength and conditioning program that fits your schedule, time of season, subjective information, sporting goals and testing data. 

We take the guesswork out of your physical preparation and let you focus on other things. Everyone is working hard these days, it's the ones that often work smarter that end up on top.

4. STRENGTH AND THAT TRANSFERS TO YOUR SPORT

There's a reason bodybuilders don't make for great team sport athletes. With everything we program, we have your sport and goals at the forefront of our mind. Our systemised strength program ensures that gains established in the gym carry over to an athlete's sporting performance on the weekend. The ability to withstand the loads of their sport is also crucial to reduce the risk of injury, keeping them doing what they love.

5. DEVELOP EXPLOSIVE POWER AND AGILITY 

The different between making that break, intercepting that pass or catching that defender, or not, can often come down to the smallest of margins. Our training system ensures athletes develop the ability to produce maximum force quickly and change direction on a dime, so when the big moments arise, they're ready

6. SUPPORT YOU CAN COUNT ON

Every fortnight, your coach will touch base on how everything has been going, wins, difficulties, you name it. These check-ins are crucial for accountability to the training plan and to ensure your program is exactly what you need to succeed.

Your coach is also accessible by email throughout the week, with replies within 24 hours.

7. FREQUENT TESTING AND PROGRESSION ANALYSIS 

Throughout our programs, we retest several measures with our Athletic Performance Assessment. This frequent update of data helps coaches evaluate how each athlete is progressing and ensures programming focuses are always up-to-date for what each athlete needs. If you are unable to make it into Game Time, we utilise previous testing measures, to analyse how you have progressed within our program and what your program should focus on moving forward.

8. DISCOUNTED SPORTS PHYSIOTHERAPY

Unfortunately when it comes to sports, injuries happen, no matter how hard we try to avoid them. Fortunately for our athletes, all coaches here at Game Time are also physiotherapists, with years of experience rehabilitating athletes and working in sporting environments as high as the international level. All athletes receive significant discounted in-person and Telehealth consultation fees as required.

OAP: $220 per month

Our all-inclusive online performance package includes the following:

  • Individualised, sport-specific strength and conditioning programs

  • Coach assignment and support

  • Fortnightly check-ins

  • Access to over 20- supervised gym and field performance sessions per week

  • 24/7 access to your program via our mobile app

  • Re-testing and reporting every 6 weeks if you can travel to Game Time.
